Six classes, six different questions.

A port, an airport, a postcode, a basin, an employer and a scenario each pile risk up differently. ExposureHUB supports multiple lines of business and is fully configurable, so each class is read in its own unit.

  • Marine, aviation, property, energy, casualty, specialty
  • Inwards and outwards reinsurance programmes
  • One platform, configured per class

Marine & Cargo

Read in units of: the port

Pick a class, see where it piles up.

Each class concentrates in its own places: ports, hubs, catastrophe zones, basins, financial centres and the market centres where specialty risk is written.

Marine & Cargo

Ports, vessels, cargo and stock throughput

The question it answers

How much cargo do we have in this port today?

One class has its own module. The rest are configured.

Energy

The Energy Module: pre-built data formats, upstream and downstream segmentation, offshore and onshore geocoding and energy-specific loss scenarios, described by Ebix as mature and ready for immediate deployment.

How the rollout runs: one class first, then the template.

The pattern comes from a fast-growing specialty MGA customer: agree which teams are in scope, hold workshops with each, go live with one class and reuse that template. It now runs seven classes of business.
The first class goes live
  • Agree which teams are in scope
  • Workshops with each team to fact-find
  • Property D&F first, so a template exists
The template travels
  • Each further class team is brought on with the same template
  • Workshops with each team to agree what it needs
Phase 2
Within three months of go-live
  • What each team needs within three months
  • Further classes on the same template
Longer term
Integrity and resilience
  • Requirements for long-term integrity and resilience
  • Upstream and downstream integrations

From an Ebix Europe customer story. The three groupings (go-live, three months after, longer term) and the one-class-first approach are the customer's.

ExposureHUB is configurable by line of business. Bring a schedule and the question your team finds hardest to answer.
